HOMEWORK FIVE

My visual equivalent of granular synthesis. I decided to go less mosaic-y on this. Still a nice sum of parts with the peacock.

A "gestural" granular synthesis. For some reason my computer can't handle more than 30 balls at a time but the intention is to get the window area filled so that it's like little grains of sound. As you pan from left to right, you control the frequency up or down. As the balls hit the left and right walls, the frequency spread goes up. As they hit the top and bottom, the spread goes down. As the balls hit each other, the grain length increases. As you move the cursor towards the bottom, the grain length decreases.
