Created with Joe Saavedra and Bruce Drummond. Based on a Open Frameworks openCV example, this application creates granules of sound based on blob detection. Each blob, up to 5, controls parameters of sets of granules. The y position of the blob controls the avgerage frequency, the blob's area controls the frequency spread, the number of points in the blob controls the number of grains per second, the with of the blob controls the grain length spread.
The threshold of the openCV and overall volume can be controlled manually via key shortcuts.
