I couldn't cry. I tried really hard. I got intoxicated. I put on the most depressing music I have in my collection. I thought of all the awfulness in the world, and then it hit me. If you would have asked me to cry a year ago, it would have been easy. A year ago I felt like the world was going nuts and no one cared. I had a job that bored me and social life that consisted of trying to find ways to forget that I was really unhappy. Now, I'm not bored at all. The economy is terrible, but people realize that it's terrible. My problem with the American public before was that they weren't awake, but that's changing. I have nothing to be sad about, personally I think that's great.

Create an Assignment: Blind Abstractions

Use the examples to create a drawing tool that will allow you draw something a classmate sketched. I used Akiko's monster as a base.

Play with the stroke. Make 3 tools that will not allow you to draw that same sketch properly. With these 3 drawing tools, you're going to make use of the exercise Taeyoon showed us with not looking at the canvas.
Take three objects and draw them with these tools.
