[HW_03]

from zach:

a/b/c — create three unique drawing tools that make the act of drawing more performative and fun. think about how certain behaviors and cations can amplify or manipulate a gesture as its being drawn. Try to use information form the gesture, such as relative changes, speed information, angle and so on to make the manipulation of the gesture meaningfully relate to how the gesture is drawn.

This drawing tool only has an oscillator per gesture using the code that Zach posted that shows how to create a vector of gestures. I was trying to mix the codes from the AVSYS class with the DRAWING+-, this was the result:
note: I didnt control very much the volume so take care with the sound level.

This tool was inspired by Droopy, an old american cartoon about a puppy that draw a whole new scene with only one brush an a couple of traces.
I made some others but the compression on vimeo makes the lightness of the strokes so thin that it is almost impossible to watch them. Therefore I am posting this one that was the darkest one from those attempts and some stills.

Algo folks - how can you use some of the material and ideas you had before to make lifelike, organic tools, such as the springy drawer ? put the previous semester’s code to work.

Taeyoon:

Recreate what we remember about the observations in class.

This first drawing I did in class, the person aimed was Ana.

Ana in class.   in this case, this drawing is not realted but I found it interesting. I used a napkin and an ink pen, I moved the napkin to draw instead of my hand.
